The Cross Inn Aylburton

April 3rd saw us at this busy pub/restaurant , a new venue for us. We were greeted by Fifi le Cross the lovely young landlady who tempted us with cups of tea and cucumber sandwiches, boy she knows  to treat a man. A very small venue so we could'nt bring the bass cabs in, this did'nt stop drummer Phil though, as ever, by the end of the evening we were knee deep in ear drums. Colin exhilarating as usual on keys, stripped to the waist, his impressive torso glistening with a heady mixture of horse liniment and Castrol GTX. Steveebass fidgeting with the mixer and other things as is his wont plucked out some slick bass lines. Lead vocalist Gary singing himself hoarse as we had no room for the foldback and he could hardly hear himself, neither could the rest of the band, a blessing some might say, but not me. Terry ( El Tel ) on his red guitar, sporting his latest "Hint of Puma" Onezie, quite a vision of sartorial elegance. The audience made us so welcome from the off, dancing with gay abandon and joining in with so many songs. A very enjoyable and very busy venue, we can't wait to come back again.

Hi Over the Hillers, Emily here.

Thank you so much for playing at my 18th birthday party, from the start it was obvious you were the right choice, such a fun band, very professional, a great sound and a variety of music for everyone, I will book you for my 21st.

Love Emily

First time here with the new management, the lovely Karen and even lovelier Alan, what a great night. This promises to be a great little venue, thanks to all our friends who turned out in droves to support us.

Back at the Albion, anticipating a quiet night as it was only 3rd of Jan, but we were wrong, a pretty full on night with the audience ready to rock , thanks to all who supported us there, we can only apologise for Gary who promises to stay upright next time.

:roll:Colin,Terry and Gary did a bit of moonlighting while Phil and Dave were looking the other way. We teamed up with some of the occasionally big band and Breezes bassist to play a wedding at the awesome PONDEROSA in the wild west of evesham....it was yee-hah kind of night and we all had a ball.

Lots of gigs remaining this year so theres plenty of chances to see us at your favourite venue..come along and let your hair down.....

Just had confirmation of an appearance at next years LAKEFEST (No.3)....its our favourite fest ever and worth a visit if youve never been...its held on august 9th -11th 2013.......
